coVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT
COVID 19 Update May 26, 2020
WE ARE OPEN!
Welcome to the NEW NORMAL.
We are following the recommendations of the CDC, OSHA and the American Optometric Association.
Call us when you arrive to our office. A staff member will take a history over the phone to limit the amount of time in the office.
Please wear a mask to protect our staff members. You will not be seen if you do not have a face covering. If you are unable or unwilling to wear a face mask, we ask that you reschedule your appointment to a future date when face masks are no longer required.
Please come by yourself to your appointment. If you arrive with someone else, they will be asked to wait in the car. Exceptions to this are minors and patients that need the assistance of a caregiver.
When you enter the office, your temperature will be taken. If your temperature is greater than 100.4 degrees, you will be rescheduled.
OUR FACILITIES ARE SAFE!
We will be limiting the schedule to reduce the number of patients in the office. The examination room will be disinfected before your arrival and after you leave. We have purchased medical grade air filters that filter down to .1 microns. We have plexiglass barriers at the front desk area. All eyeglass frames that are handled during the frame selection process will be disinfected. Our staff members will be wearing masks and are practicing social distancing.
Our office will continue to offer telemedicine. This is for the external issues that may arise such as allergic, bacterial or viral conjunctivitis (red eyes) and styes. Please call the office to set up a telemedicine visit if you are sick or do not feel comfortable coming into the office to be seen.
Please call our offices for an appointment:
Clinton (908) 735-5712 Washington (908) 689-1214
We will continue to mail or provide a curbside pickup for your contact lenses, glasses, vitamins and artificial tears.
Stay well, we miss you and we will see you soon!
